- ATFT SYSTEM (ATTACHED TUBE FLOCCULATOR TECHNOLOGY)
An ATFT System (Attached Tube Flocculator Technology) is an advanced water and wastewater treatment solution designed to enhance the flocculation and clarification process. By using inclined tubes or lamella plates, ATFT significantly increases the effective settling area, thereby improving particle separation efficiency while reducing the footprint of conventional clarifiers.
This makes ATFT a highly efficient and compact solution for industrial effluent, sewage, and process water treatment.
- How It Works
- Wastewater is first dosed with coagulants/flocculants to form micro-flocs.
- The flow passes through inclined tubes/lamella plates inside the ATFT unit.
- The increased surface area provided by the tubes enhances particle collision and settling.
- Heavy flocs settle at the bottom as sludge, while clarified water exits from the top.
- A skimmer mechanism removes the sludge, while clarified water is discharged.
