Sand Filtration
- Description
The Multi grade sand filter provided by Salila Envirotech Pvt. Ltd. is a depth filter that makes use of coarse and fine media mixed together in a fixed proportion. This arrangement produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. It consists of a mesh of various graded (sized) media together. The media inside the filter is arranged in such a way that it produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. Raw water with 25 to 50 PPM Suspended solids, produce filtrates with less than 5 PPM on passing through the filter. It can be used stand alone to remove physical impurities in water or can be used as pretreatment to safeguard further equipment.
