Treatment Process

1. Collection & Screening
Incoming wastewater passes through coarse screens to remove large solids, plastics, and debris to prevent damage to equipment.

2. Equalization
Flow is balanced and homogenized in an equalization tank, reducing fluctuations in organic load and flow rate.

3. Aeration (SBR)
Oxygen is introduced to support aerobic bacteria, which break down organic matter in sequential batch cycles.

4. Sedimentation / Clarification
Heavier solids settle at the bottom, separating the clean supernatant from sludge.

5. Filtration & Disinfection
Treated water is filtered and then disinfected using UV or chlorine to kill any remaining pathogens before reuse or discharge.

6. Reuse or Safe Discharge
Final effluent is either reused in gardens, toilets, or cooling towers, or safely discharged as per environmental norms.
